Winter Makeup out of ISO

So we have come out of ISO, restrictions are lifting and if you are anything like me you now feel slightly terrified about getting out of your trackies and doing your hair and makeup again.

Well I feel you! I’ve secretly loved the slobish style and it’s been perfect whilst having a new baby around. I also know that when I make a little effort and have fun with makeup it does wonders for my self esteem.

So let’s ease back into this ‘full face of makeup life’ with a super easy multipurpose look using jane iredale clean beauty products.

Start with two of the best! Mix one part Smooth Affair Facial Primer and Brightener  with one part Glow Time BB Cream. You can play with the ratios depending on your desired coverage.

This will give you a long lasting super hydrating creamy finish with SPF protection. Perfect if you have been stuck in air conditioning  which dries your skin out big time!

Now that we are outdoors more we need to protect ourselves from UVA and UVB rays. Yes even in Winter. I know I always bang on about the importance of SPF all year round, but it’s just too bloody important not too!!!

Don’t worry I am not going to tell you to use a concealer in this ‘easing back in look’.. so you can just use your Glow Time BB Cream to dab a little extra on areas of the face that need more coverage.

The Moonglow Bronzer is my go to Winter multipurpose product. You can use the colours individually or mix them together. You really can’t go wrong with this product and it suits everyone!! Sweep it across the eyelids and a little up your cheekbones to give you a touch of warmth and a natural glow. Boom!

Make your eyes pop with the Retractable Brow Pencil, Pure Lash Conditioner and Longest Lash Mascara. Try the colour Espresso (brown) if you haven’t worn mascara in months. This won’t be such a shock to the system!!

Now simply find your favourite lip product. I love a deeper pink lipstick for Winter like Ella or Rose in the Triple Luxe Lipsticks. If you are not quite ready for a full lip look, simply use your lip stick to tint your lips. Dab your lippy in the center of your lips and use your finger to press the excess around the rest of the lip area. Whilst you are at it, why not add just a touch to the apples of your cheeks for that naturally flushed vibe.

Viola, that wasn’t so hard was it?

Effortlessly ready to face the world again.

You’ve got this! Milly x
